Nathan Jurevicius, Australia

More About This Artist...

Since 1995, Australian artist Nathan Jurevicius has collaborated with many international companies, galleries and publications. His most acclaimed project to date is Scarygirl, described as a surreal, psychedelic composition of heartfelt stories and reinterpreted folklore based around a cute yet slightly odd little girl and her giant octopus guardian.

Since its creation in 2001, Scarygirl has attracted a dedicated underground following of fans across the globe thanks to numerous limited edition vinyl toys, designer products, an online game (hailed as one of the 'best flash games ever') and a newly released graphic novel. Scarygirl is in early development as an animated feature film with Passion Pictures.

Nathans side project is called 'Harley + Boss' with illustrator/ designer Andrea Kang. Together they design plush toys, art shows, limited edition products and children's books.
