Tom Lewis, UK

More About This Artist...

In 1989 a 10 year old Tom Lewis visited an abstract expressionists studio somewhere in New Mexico. It blew his little mind. The artist had a vending machine that let you have cans of coke for free. FOR FREE. Can you even imagine?

Since that day, Tom has spent every waking minute drawing, painting, doodling and studying, whilst dreaming of the day when his East London studio might be able to boast the same. It is only a matter of time.

Tom's work is an explosion of colour, texture, process and invented narrative.

Tom shot to fame when his work was featured on the BBC television show "Young Apprentice".

Tom's 2010 London solo show sold out in roughly 15 minutes, and he's been trying to keep up with demand ever since. Exhibitions this year include art fairs in New York, The Hamptons, Singapore, Manchester and Bath with another much anticipated solo show on the way.

A rising British star we look forward to more from Tom in 2012.
