Dawn Elizabeth Williams

Born in Southport 1965.

Lives with her daughter near Bala on a 200 acre hill farm bordering the Snowdonia National Park.

Breeds Welsh Black x Limousin cattle and Welsh Mountain sheep.

2007 completed BA Hons in Illustration at North Wales School of Art and Design and is currently embarking on a Level 4 Diploma in Professional Printmaking to broaden her chosen field.

Recently exhibited at the New Designers Exhibition at the Buisness Design Centre Islington, London.

Inspiration comes from her surroundings and all natural things.

Initial sketches and drawings are done in pen and ink and/or watercolour, and then various tecniques are used:
Relief and embossed linocuts
Collograph prints
Prints made out of found natural materials using a home made press
Collage
Digital.
