Ku-u-be

Hello, my name is Alice, I work under the name of Ku-u-be Illustration. Anything that is cute and cuddly inspires me. I think I have an addiction to cuteness! I love anything that is fun, sweet and cheerful. I always find myself working from pretty and beautiful things. I am always trying to create something that is unique and unusual and first something people will look at…simple as that.

I am passionate about animals and they tend to pop up a lot in my work. My favourite animals are sloth’s and loris as they have so much character already.

But by far my biggest inspiration is Japan. The culture, the people, the art…anything Japanese! After visiting several times I found that I fell in love with the country.

Everywhere you look you will see something new and exciting and you are always surrounded by design.

I find that Japanese influence creeps into all the artwork I create, especially the ‘kawaii’ cute culture…that’s me to a T!
